2009 All-Star Game

The 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis had two Giants, starting pitchers Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain, represented. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval also made the "final vote", but finished only second in the voting to Phillies All-Star Shane Victorino. In the game, second time All-Star Tim Lincecum was chosen as the starting pitcher, and he went two innings while giving up one earned run. First time All-Star Matt Cain was not able to participate due to being hit in the elbow in his previous start.

Lincecum would have done better if he could have had some better defence...

Pandaval should have been an All-Star.

Too bad Cain couldn't pitch.
