2008 First Round Draft Pick
With the fifth overall selection in the 2008 Draft, the Giants selected catcher "Buster" Posey out of Florida State. While his main position now is catcher, Posey was originally a shortstop entering college. That's not all. In one game Posey played all nine positions! That is quite versatile. Posey is the Golden Spikes award winner and should make a BIG impact on the majors when he comes up.
